Ship-aH2oy kicked off in Espoo, Finland

The innovative project chasing zero-emission maritime operations through a combination of liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) and solid oxide fuel cells is officially live after a successful kick-off meeting 1.-2. february 2023.

The basis of Ship-aH2oy is the strong commitment of the wide range of industry partners to realize zero-emission shipping. 17 partners from 7 European countries collaborate on the project, which has been awarded €15 million in EU funding over a five-year period.

The project is coordinated by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, which also hosted the kick-off meeting in February.
